Why doesn’t someone hand dry or vacuum my car?
Speedy is an exterior only express tunnel wash. Our business model does not provide for the necessary personnel and our sites are not laid out with the necessary stacking lanes to hand dry or provide vacuum services. For your convenience, however, our self-serve vacuums are always free.
Why should I visit Speedy during a car wash fundraising event?
It's a great opportunity to help area youth raise money for club and athletics activities! And, Speedy Car Wash cards are offered for sale at a discounted rate, saving you money!
Will Speedy Car Wash replace a lost wash card?
You may register your wash card at our online store. We are sorry, but wash card registration is not available for our original black Speedy Car Wash cards.
What is SpeedyPass?
SpeedyPass is our car wash club that allows you to bypass the Paystation. At time of enrollment, choose your preferred wash package and provide credit card information for billing. The process is complete when a representative of Speedy places a small ID tag on your vehicle. The tag is only about the size of a stick of gum. Then each time you pull up to the Paystation at Speedy, the ID tag is read, the arm raises and you may proceed to the wash tunnel. Choose how you want to set up the billing -- Pay As You Go, or a monthly or yearly Unlimited wash option.
How do I enroll in SpeedyPass?
Please visit the lobby at Speedy Car Wash, and one of our friendly Supervisors will get you enrolled. It only takes a few minutes to complete the application and apply the ID tag to your vehicle.
Does Speedy offer a fleet program?
Yes! SpeedyFleet works very much like SpeedyPass and is designed to accommodate those with three or more vehicles. For more information, please contact us at: SpeedyFleet@speedycarwash.com.
How do I get a free Supreme Wash for my birthday?
Just drive up to the Paystation, ring the bell and show your valid Drivers License on your birthday to receive your free Supreme Wash. The free birthday wash policy may be viewed at http://bit.ly/iZPSwE.
What happened to Wacky Wednesday?
As of January 1, 2011, we waved Goodbye to Wacky Wednesday and said Hello to the Speedy Deal of the Week. While many loved our Wacky Wednesday, we can offer our customers more variety through a rotating weekly special — not just on one day of the week. Also, without Wacky Wednesday, we can be more flexible in all of our offerings. We recently introduced Flash Deals via Facebook and Twitter. To get notification of Flash Deals, you mush “like” us on Facebook or “follow” us on Twitter. More to come, and More to love!
In the warm weather months, we have a self-serve bug prep station available for use in one lane before the Paystation. It is handy for loosening up those pesky bugs on the front of your vehicle. It is not a tire or wheel prep. It is a solution designed to deal with caked on bugs only. Once the bug prep is put away for the winter, if you happen to have leftover bugs on your front bumper or windshield, just let us know as you are entering the tunnel, and we can give it a quick shot of bug prep right there before loading your vehicle onto the conveyor.
Is washing at Speedy Car Wash environmentally conscious?
Yes! We reclaim, treat and reuse 65 to 70% of our water. The remainder empties into the sanitary sewer and is properly treated at the wastewater plant. We do NOT produce runoff that empties into our lakes and streams through storm sewers like car washing at home does. We use environmentally friendly cleaning solvents that are kind to the Earth. You can wash guilt-free at Speedy!
